Yo Ghana! board members Harriette Vimegnon and David Peterson del Mar will be leading a workshop entitled "'There Are Other Kids in the Word': Yo Ghana! and Exchanges for Transformation" at the Ninth Annual Northwest Teaching for Social Justice Conference at Madison High School, October 29, 12:45 p.m.
Ms. Vimegnon is the Principal of Beaumont Middle School researching the achievement gap for her doctoral dissertation. Dr. del Mar is an Associate Professor at Portland State University.
The conference draws several hundred educators from across the Pacific Northwest.
